Hai Phong, Vietnam – May 8, 2025 — HW ENERGY COMPANY LIMITED’s primary battery manufacturing facility located in the DEEP C Industrial Zone in Hai Phong, Vietnam, has been officially completed and fully put into operation. This milestone marks the launch of a large-scale, modern battery manufacturing base serving international markets and signals a significant upgrade to the primary battery industry landscape in Southeast Asia.

The project was completed after more than a year of high-standard construction, resulting in nearly 50,000 square meters of modern manufacturing facilities. Production lines for both alkaline and carbon-zinc batteries have been fully installed and have successfully completed equipment commissioning and trial production, with all manufacturing systems now operating steadily. In May 2025, the plant fulfilled its first bulk export orders, officially entering the stage of large-scale mass production and shipment.
The Hai Phong facility integrates scale, automation, and vertical manufacturing capabilities, covering the full range of carbon-zinc and alkaline primary battery products. It achieves complete process integration from cell manufacturing to finished product packaging. Following the start of operations, the plant has become the largest and most comprehensive primary battery manufacturing base in Southeast Asia, leading the industry in production capacity, product portfolio breadth, and manufacturing efficiency.
With the plant now fully operational, HW ENERGY has significantly enhanced its supply capacity and delivery reliability for international markets, further strengthening its core position within the regional industry chain. Supported by a more efficient production system and a more complete product structure, HW ENERGY is accelerating the development of a supply network serving major global markets, injecting new industrial momentum and competitive strength into Southeast Asia’s primary battery manufacturing sector.
